Hola!
He vuelto a instalar la versión última 6.2.11 y no funciona, he desinstalado ésta versión y he instalado la 6.2.10 y tampoco funciona.

Hi Jorge.  Could you please run this through a Spanish to English translation and update the post?  You can do it one time vs every reader and potential source of help on the forum having to do it.  Thanks!

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

Just trying to help my colleague.

Seems to be some rpc failure, ascom issue and/or com port problem. Not sure.

If I'm not wrong, these would be the most relevant info in the log files in english (I tried to figure out which would be the original messages). Note that lines are not consecutives:

invoke: [800706ba] The RPC server is not available.
Error thrown from C:\cygwin\home\agalasso\projects\phd2\scope_ascom.cpp:592->ASCOM Scope: pulseguide command failed: A COM error occurred. More info in debug log files
GetBoolean("/Confirm/2/PulseGuideFailedAlertEnabled", 1) returns 1
Error thrown from C:\cygwin\home\agalasso\projects\phd2\scope.cpp:771->guide failed
Throw from C:\cygwin\home\agalasso\projects\phd2\scope.cpp:578->Move failed
Error thrown from C:\cygwin\home\agalasso\projects\phd2\worker_thread.cpp:309->MoveAxis failed
Alert: ASCOM controller failed during movement [...]
Alert: Driver ASCOM failed while checking IsPulseGuiding. Review debug log file
Alert: PulseGuide command failed - guiding will not be accurate.

Please note that I tried to translate but probably those are not the exact error messages; but similar.

I'm not an ascom/eqmod guy. Maybe someone could clarify whether is related to ascom/eqmod/windows or not.

Regards

Sorry for the spam.

As a side note, my colleague's original issue is basically that cannot guide. Guide pulses are failing. Neither in manual guide within phd2; so it seems is not related to nina. Reinstalling did not work.
Mount responds to movement (slew) commands, but not to pulse guide.

Hello! I haven't been able to calibrate or guide for several days, every time I connect PHD2 to N.I.N.A. or I just try it by itself, everything connects fine but when I click on calibrate or guide this error pops up [pulseGuide command to the mount has failed... -Guiding will not be effective] I have reinstalled the latest version 6.2.11 and it does not work, I have uninstalled this version and I have installed 6.2.10 and it does not work either. I bought a new cable and the same thing is still happening. Since I was a child. everything is ok, I can move the mount with the N, S, E, W bones and it also works if I press [move and center]. It also works from Cartes du ciel. It only gives PHD2 error, I am attaching some files with which I hope you can help me, I am very overwhelmed with this. https://openphdguiding.org/logs/dl/PHD2_logs_vyig.zip
Thanks in advance, Jorge
