The latest release of PHD2 - the one you're running - includes the latest software library from Moravian. That means all the Moravian drivers must also be the latest releases. If you are running older versions of the native drivers, that may be the major problem. The reason you can't get the ASCOM camera driver to work is that it evidently wasn't registered successfully by the Moravian installer. The error PHD2 sees is this one:
09:23:47.857 00.019 1596 Create ASCOM Camera: choice 'Moravian USB Camera 1 (64 bit) (ASCOM)' progid ASCOM.MoravinstCCD.GXCamera64
09:23:47.858 00.001 1596 CoCreateInstance: [80040154] Class not registered
I suggest that you first update your camera drivers to the latest releases and re-install the ASCOM camera driver. Make sure you don't have anti-virus software that is interfering with those install operations. Then try connecting with the ASCOM driver - you will know which that is because it will have 'ASCOM' as part of the name in the drop-down list. If that doesn't work, ask for help from Moravian. When the ASCOM driver is being used, all of the camera-related software comes from Moravian, not PHD2. Assuming you get the camera connected reliably, you must create a new configuration profile in PHD2 using the new-profile-wizard. If you are just banging away making different choices of devices in the PHD2 'Connect Equipment' dialog, you will just create a mess and will get poor results.
Good luck,
Bruce
