Occasionally my tracking does not restart after drift align.

Some internet suggestions discuss not using CPWI and using ASCOM instead, but the internal workings of all this is beyond me.

Is there a method or setting to avoid this?

PHD2 doesn't enable or disable tracking, so it isn't involved in whatever is causing this problem.

Maybe Don  means "guiding does not restart", not "tracking" ?

There are only two very short sessions in the Log.

In the first session:
Guiding was enabled and RA guide pulses were being issued.
There were no Dec guide pulses.
Because  Dec was drifting North due to a PA error of 21arcmins.
And because PHD2 was only set to "DEC guide mode = North".

In the second session:
PA error was now 2arc mins.
RA guide pulses were being issued.
No Dec guide pulses because "DEC guide mode = Off"

User error, not a PHD2 problem.
