This used to happen to me too.  In the three point alignment page, before you click start, you have to set "start from current position" ON, as I recall, in order for it to pay attention to the step size that you entered..

Hi guys,

I am using PHD2 V2.6.13dev7 with a C9.25 SCT and Celestron OAG and the ASI174mm mini.

When I use Three Point Polar Alignment, it skews much farther than the degrees I set it to.  I usually set it to 29-degrees.  But it is moving much further than that causing me to stop the process before it crashes into the pier.

The mounts guide rate is correct (I played with it just to be sure).  The camera and telescope (OAG) settings are correct (auto-discovered by the Wizard)  I tried uninstalling PHD2 and reinstalled V2.6.13 without and Devs.   I also noticed my guiding has been pretty crappy (Well over 1).  So maybe there is something related there.

This happened to me once before and I fixed it but I cannot remember how!  But it was something in the settings for sure.

Any other suggestions.  What might I be missing?

Thanks,
Thomas

I'll double check it was enabled but i don't see how I could have missed that over and over again.  I always click "start from current position" because other wise it adds additional fields.

If you provide the logs as mentioned under How to Get Help at the top of the forum, then more guidance can be provided.
