I'd intended to set up to build/develop on PHD2 since the project started, but just never got around to it.  Recent issues with the way screen stretching works prompted me to want to take a look at the code, so I decided to go ahead and get set up to build the project.  However, partway through downloading all the tools, Chrome blocked me accessing the website for Visual Leak Detector, saying it was dangerous,"The sight ahead contains harmful programs."  Is this a recent occurrence or something due to the type of content they offer and where it's used?  Luckily this appears to be optional to the development build, but I'm curious as to the situation here.

Thanks,

Beo

Beo,
Thanks for letting us know about that.  It's optional so if you have concerns, then just skip it. You don't need it for building or running phd2, it's purpose is to allow automatic memory leak detection.

FYI

Firefox notes the following for Visual Leak Detector

This project migrated to https://kinddragon.github.io/vld/

A google search on Firefox does not even list the vid.complex site; it lists the above.
