Hi Bruce-san

The attached file is the guide log (TXT file) read into excel, sorry if I am wrong.

RARawDistance and DECRawDistance are the data of the deviation of the guide star in the right ascension and declination directions calculated from the calibration results?

So what data are RAGuideDistance and DECGuideDistance?

Best regards,
nabePla

Hi nabePla san

The columns at the left are the measured/calculated error, while the columns at the right are the applied correction.
- the actual correction can be 0 if it is lower than the MnMo threshold
- the correction is lower than the error (or equal max) by a factor which is the aggressiveness : aggressiveness = 0.7 means the correction will be 0.7 * the error

Have a good day

Précision : Of course the correction depends on the algorithm : if a low pass filter is used, the correction will not be proportional to the error.
But it order to keep the system stable, the correction is always < the error
