Hi,

I have been running into an issue the past two nights where PHD2 will crash while running an advanced sequence in NINA. Seems to crash after a couple of hours.

My NINA log file is also attached.

Also, here is the text from the windows 11 event viewer for the PHD2 crash.

Hi Pete, thanks for re-posting your message and helping us keep the message threads straightened out.  Obviously, these are very intermittent problems and each is associated with trying to start a new guide camera exposure.  The dev2 release you're running includes updates to the ZWO-provided interface software so it's important that your ZWO camera drivers are also the latest-and-greatest.  This happened again in the dev3 PHD2 release so you should probably update to dev4 along with updating the camera drivers.  If that doesn't solve the problem, it will be down to the hardware.  There's a pretty lengthy description of trouble-shooting techniques in the Trouble Shooting section of the user guide - it's the same as tracking down "lost connection" problems.  If you're running in cold temps, for example, you may have intermittent issues with power delivery to the guide camera.  Also, you should be sure you've disabled the Windows "feature" of suspending USB ports for power conservation.

Good luck,
Bruce

Thanks Bruce. I apologize for commandeering the other thread.
Thank you for the info. I'll make sure my ZWO camera drivers are updated and update PHD2. I did read about the Windows USB port power setting and just turned that off. Hopefully I'll get some clear skies by the end of the week and test it out.
