Hello,

Is it possible to check the current cursor position when hover over image preview? I would like to point cursor to some place at the image and read (like in status bar for example) actual X and Y values of the pixel.

I need this option as workaround for spectroscopic work. When the target is too faint to have a preview in the guider, and it needed to be placed at the slit position. In this case to put and lock some brighter, visible star at specified XY position in the frame.

Clear skies,
Lucas

Hi,
I strongly agree with Lucas. This option is very needed (just like in others imaging applications).

Good idea, thanks for the suggestion.  I added a new enhancement request to the issue tracker, #841.

Hi,

Any progress on this request? Another spectroscopy user here...

Thanks,

Sean

No, it’s just in the list.  You can check status by clicking on the GitHub link to the issue tracker entry (item #841).
