Error 5 when launching in Windows 10

Using Windows 10 Pro 1803

PHD2 version 2.6.5 fresh install on 6 month old laptop.

9:31:26 AM: can't open file 'C:\Users\nigel\OneDrive\Documents\PHD2\PHD2_DebugLog_2018-07-10_093126.txt' (error 5: access is denied.)

9:31:28 AM: can't open file 'C:\Users\nigel\OneDrive\Documents\PHD2\PHD2_GuideLog_2018-07-10_093126.txt' (error 5: access is denied.)

No log files are created.

PHD2 launches afterwards and appears to be functioning fine with an Orion StarShoot Autoguide.

Nigel,

I suspect there is something funky with the folder ownership or folder permissions that is preventing PHD2 from creating the log file in that folder.

Here's a Windows support article with some things to try.

In none of that helps, you could try moving the PHD2 log folder to a different location using the folder location option in the brain.
