Linux - PHD2 Message Visibility

On my Linux Mint machine, whenever a PHD alert comes up, the text box is orange with white text making it extremely difficult to read.  I use the dark theme but switching to light also has the same issue.  The phd2 was installed 2 weeks ago from a ppa.

Any suggestions?

The appearance of the alert message isn't controlled by PHD2, it's a behavior of the underlying cross-platform wxWidgets library we use.  On Windows, it looks like:

The control doesn't provide any options for changing color schemes, so I don't think there's anything we can do about it.
