Upgraded to CPWI v2.5

I upgraded to CPWI version 2.5, but now my PHD2(latest v2.6.11dev6) will not connect via Ascom driver problem.

I have the latest ASCOM software v661.3673. 

Additionally, it says “ascom driver problem during connection: CPWI_Ascom cannot communicate with CPWI, request =/mount/reconnect.”

Any ideas how to get PHD2 back on line?

No need to shout. <lol>  This isn't a PHD2 issue, you've probably mis-configured the Celestron software.  To start, make sure you have specified the correct COM port in CPWI to communicate with the mount.  Beyond that, you can get help from Celestron or on one of the Celestron forums.

Thank you for your prompt response. 

Sorry about the shout. When i copied my request over from notepad, it inadvertently came over bold. 

The reason I wrote to PHD2 was prior to CPWI upgrade, everything was running smoothly together:  CPWI, Sharpcap, & PHD2. 

After simply installing CPWI upgrade,  couple of clicks, CPWI was successfully installed. As far as I know, I did not intentionally misconfigure the Celestron software. Upgraded CPWI works fine. Sharpcap, which uses CPWI mount & CPWI focuser drivers subsequently works fine. Only PHD2, as per below, came up with an error message after upgrade. 

Any other thoughts of what may have happened and solutions to correct this?

I'm just trying to be logical here.  It seems to me the only thing you have changed is Celestron software.  PHD2 treats all ASCOM mount drivers exactly the same way and the code hasn't changed in many years.  The error message you posted indicates that CPWI_ASCOM can't communicate with CPWI, two pieces of Celestron software.  Are you certain you don't need to use the ASCOM device hub like this video shows:

If you want to post your PHD2 debug log, I can look to see if there is any other information available, but I doubt there will be.
