Is there a setup guide or other document on the configuration necessary to get PHD2 to work with The SkyX and a Paramount?  (A MyT due to arrive in the next couple of days)

You have to start by installing the plug-in from Software Bisque that enables guiding by ASCOM applications – it’s paradoxically called the 2X Mount Adaptor:

https://ascom-standards.org/FAQs/TheSky.htm

Once that’s installed, you have to set the parameters described here:

Good luck,

Bruce

Thanks Brian.
I had found that page, although it was linked an a message from another PHD2 user that those setting would not work for him.  (He had to enable offsets and pulse guiding).  I was hoping for something a little more detailed that a single screenshot of the Ascom driver selection boxes.  Something like the best practices guides out there for SkyWatcher EQ6 mounts...

I searched the forum but didn't want to drop to far back due to differences in versions.  I saw where one PHD2 Support contact was soliciting for Paramount users to submit data.  It appeared he was working toward a general guide for optimized settings for the Paramounts.  Did anything come of that?

Yea, can't do that yet as I don't have the mount yet (should arrive tomorrow) and can't access any of the software until I have the registration key and flash/drive.

From what I've read that was posted by other users (here and other forums,  the "Enable Tracking Offsets" must also be checked.  Depending on the user's mount, the box for "Pulse Guide" may have to be checked instead of the "Direct Guide".  The Pulse Guide options seems to be prevalent with Synscan based mounts like the SkyWatcher EQ6/6R.  I read reports/post from Paramount users that indicate either options being used; I suspect (without any evidence) that this may be related to the age/vintage of the mount with the newer mounts possibly OK with DirectGuide.  I suppose I'll be confirming this within the next week or so, weather permitting.
