Hi there,

I want to use a SVBONY SV205 as a guide cam, but phd2 does not recognize it. Nor does NINA, if I try to connect to it as an imaging cam.
Phd2 has svbony listed as an option in the camera selection, but then it says "there is no svbony cam connected"
But: the buitin camera app from Windows10 does support it, and it is also visible in the hardware manager.
Svbony does not provide an ascom driver for the 205, so I am stuck now.

Any clues?

lg and thanks a lot,
Alois

It looks like this is really an "electronic eyepiece" and doesn't have a driver that will allow it to run in single-exposure mode.  So I don't think it's workable as a guide camera.  Looking on the SVBony web site, I found this:

Good luck,
Bruce

I believe this is a video-only camera, it doesn't deliver single frames required for guiding software.
Exposure Time: 15ms~1000ms
Maximum Frame Rate: 15FPS(3264*2448) 30FPS(1920*1080)
