Greetings, Absolute newbie here. Trying to set up my ASI120 to work with my Sky Watcher EQ6 R Pro and am first confronted with a box asking me to select an interface, speed and Mount from a drop down list. I do not see anything in the list that comes close to my mount. What should I be putting in these boxes for the ubiquitous EQ6R Pro ? Thanks,

Sounds like you probably need to spend some time with the User Guide.  There is a ‘Basic Use’ section that discusses how to connect to various mount drivers.  If you’re on Windows, the recommended approach is to install the ASCOM platform and the appropriate ASCOM driver for your mount.

To repeat the advice that was sent to you earlier today:

.  If you are relatively inexperienced with PHD2, please read the User Guide (built-in Help and online files) along with the Best Practices document  The User Guide is updated with every release of PHD2 and contains a great deal of information.  The ‘Search’ facility in the Google forum is also a useful tool because many questions have been asked and answered repeatedly. When you need help, be sure to follow the instructions for uploading your log files to our server.

Your ZWO ASI120 camera comes with a ZWO driver and a ZWO  ASCOM driver downloadable from the ZWO web site. Get the latest..it changes often. The camera is capable of operation in either 8 bit mode or 16 bit mode. At the PHD2 setup screen there is a little wrench and screwdriver which is where you set the bit rate. Use 16 bit. In the "Brain" setup set Multistar guiding and put in the focal length of your guide scope or OAG if you're using one. Click on the Advanced tab and it will calculate the numbet of steps necesary to use for your calibration. Use the Calibration Wizard under Tools to do your calibration.

For your mount I'd suggest GSS...Green Swamp Server, https://greenswamp.org/, for the mount driver. EQMOD is old and no longer really supported but still used by a large number of people. Both need the RJ45 to USB cable to connect the mount to your computer. Uses the hand controller port. Hope this helps.

I read the manual. That section you linked to, I've read that about 5 times. In paragraphs 3,4 and 5, I see nothing that tells me what to select on that drop down list under MOUNT. They mention ASCOM in the preamble above the list but it is not on the list. I do not know what ASCOM is, for that matter.
