Hi Everyone,

This looks like a very interesting conference where we could possibly
meet folks to help us with the Ontology project. Some papers that may
be of interest are:

**** 1) Massimiliano Vignolo's "Toward an Ontology of Products" (he is
at http://www.dif.unige.it/epi/hp/vignolo/)
2) Lubomir Stanchev and Grant Weddell: "On Building an Index Advisor
for Semantic Web Queries"
3) Brandon Bennett: "Foundations for an Ontology of Environment and
Habitat"
4) Michael Gruninger, Torsten Hahmann, Ali Hashemi and Darren Ong:
"Ontology Verification with Repositories"

It seems like a pretty formal conference but there will be workshops
on MODULARITY in Ontologies at http://www.informatik.uni-bremen.de/~okutz/womo4/

Below is more info on the conference:

"Ontology Conference in Toronto"
The Sixth International Conference on Formal Ontology in Information
Systems (FOIS 2010), to be held May 11-14, 2010 at The Sutton Place
Hotel, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

FOIS is a great opportunity to see the latest research being done in
the area of ontologies and its applications to information systems
that are central to the Semantic Web.

The FOIS 2010 program will feature invited talks by John Bateman
(University of Bremen, Germany), Alan Rector (University of
Manchester, UK), and Francis Jeffry Pelletier (Simon Fraser
University, Canada), as well as two workshops on Modular Ontologies
and Ontology Education.
