Call for Papers
The OntoLex-Lemon model has become a pivotal standard for representing lexical and linguistic data as linked data, enabling interoperability between lexical resources and the Semantic Web. In recent years, its use has expanded into diverse domains, including computational lexicography, terminology management, and AI-driven language technologies. However, as new linguistic challenges and technological advancements emerge, the OntoLex model must continue evolving to meet these needs.

This workshop invites contributions that advance the model or demonstrate its application to new challenges. Topics include enhancements to the core OntoLex-Lemon framework, such as improvements for morphological, syntactic, and semantic representations, as well as the development of modules for etymology, diachronic linguistics, and phonology. We also welcome work addressing multilingual and cross-linguistic data integration, essential for global-scale linguistic interoperability.

Practical applications are a key focus, particularly in AI and natural language processing, where OntoLex supports knowledge graph construction, entity linking, and semantic search. Contributions showcasing workflows, tools, or datasets that leverage OntoLex in innovative ways are encouraged.

The workshop also seeks to identify gaps and priorities for future development, fostering discussion on community needs, standards harmonization, and collaboration. This forum provides a unique opportunity to shape the OntoLex model’s role in the evolving landscape of linguistic linked data.

We welcome any and all submissions dealing with these topics, and in particular, we are interested in discussions of OntoLex use-cases.
