Dear Researchers and Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the Sixth International Conference on Speech and Language Technologies for Low-Resource Languages (SPELLL 2027), to be held at the University of Galway, Ireland, from 31 May to 2 June 2027, in Hybrid Mode.

The theme of SPELLL 2027 is:

“Knowledge Graphs for Low-Resource Languages Using LLMs, SLMs and Multimodal AI”

We invite original research contributions in areas including, but not limited to, language resources, NLP and language technologies, speech technologies, computer vision and multimodal AI, knowledge graphs, LLMs/SLMs, RAG, conversational agents, clinical and healthcare NLP, federated learning, responsible AI, and low-resource language technologies.

Important Dates:
Paper Submission Deadline: 10 December 2026
Review Period: 21 December 2026 – 31 January 2027
Decision Period: 1–15 February 2027
Acceptance Notification: 17 February 2027
Camera-Ready Submission: 8 March 2027
Conference: 31 May – 2 June 2027

Accepted and presented papers will be published in the Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) Series.
