ola_recorder e131 universe limit

Howdy 

Bit confused why ola_recorder seems to only stick to 20 universes when docs other message board entries seem to say more is a-ok..... 

The 20 universes it seems to pick to record appears to be random. 

I am looking at recording 31 universes. 

Any ideas on where to start? Config all appears fine.

Hi Michael,

I fail to see any artificial limitation in the source code of
ola-recorder
(https://github.com/OpenLightingProject/ola/blob/master/examples/ola-recorder.cpp)
or the ShowRecorder class it uses.

So you are receiving universes via e131 and want to record them all? Can
you verify all universes in OLA get sane values (check via the web
interface for example).

Assuming you're on Linux, it's likely to be this setting:

As Jannis says, I don't believe there are any specific limitations in ola_recorder.

If you continue to have issues, as mentioned, check if they show correctly in the OLA web UI or ola_dmxmonitor, as OLA recorder is essentially hanging off of that core.
