Hello....

First of all, thank you for developing the OLA opensoucre applications.

We are working on an interactive video project where we want to use various Raspberry Pi's as a video player. We would like to be able to operate these video players via OSC and / or DMX.

I am thinking of basic functions such as start, stop, pause, volume, choice of film (image) and playlist.

We would like to trigger these players by RFID tags that send an OSC command over the network via a nano-Pi. We have already completed this phase and it works fine. There is the option to work this out with a DMX channel instead of OSC.

We are now working with a Pi4 4gb and are doing various tests with the MPV player on Ubuntu Mate.

We would use the Coolux Widget Designer to link everything together.

Now I do work with a programmer but he knows nothing about OSC and DMX protocols. He really specializes in Python scripting.

Is it possible that we can receive more information about the OLA DMX trigger and the combination of OMX-PLayer. Mayby a Image from the PI as example.

Our if you now someane from Belgium our Holland who have same experience whit OLA pleas let me know. We would like to pay for this service when needed.

We are now stuck and will have to finisch these project next week on Friday.

Thanks in advance for thinking along.

There are good Python libraries for OSC.
If you are using Python3: osc4py3
Is a good option. Install with pip.
Google for other options.
Also can find lots of Python video player code options.
