hi there,
i'm happy to see a group dedicated to light and computers, i think we
can make great things...
i'm not sure if my question is the purpose of this groups, but, i'
working on D::Light (http://www.nicole-banana.com/)

the soft is coded in C, and works great.
I use Dmx Usb Pro, and ODE from Enttec as interface. Now, i would like
to add to the soft the potentiel of many universe, but i don't know
how exactly it works, and moreover, i have no way to test...

Can someone explain me what's the principe of Dmx Universes.
for now, i'm sending to boxes an unsigned char pointer of 512
characters, how an i reach another universe?

many regards,
nicolas

Yeah, the possibility is certainly there, but it depends on how much
time people choose to use on it.

Well, there can be one universe at one string of cables. A Enttec DMX
USB Pro can only send data in one universe.
With two or more outputs, you can send two or more sets of universe
data.

Is your question about how to send the universe data to the correct
interface, i.e. adressing the intended destination?

Maybe you can look at the code fro LLA-examples and the lla_dmxconsole
program, where you can specify which universe number in the LLA system
you want to sends data to?
