OLA on Pi with USB WiFi

I have OLA successfully running on a Pi and streaming e1.31 to it over ethernet however i would like to switch to wifi instead of ethernet.
I have configured the wifi dongle and can access the OLA web admin page fine over wifi and can SSH etc fine however the server info on the OLA home page just reads:
Server Info
Hostname
raspberrypi
Primary IP
0.0.0.0
Primary Broadcast Address
0.0.0.0
Primary MAC Address
00:00:00:00:00:00
Version
0.9.2

This seems to indicate that OLA is still looking for ethernet to get its address etc.
Is it possible to configure it to use the USB wifi instead?

PS i understand the limitations of wifi for DMX reliability etc but its reliability is not as critical as its ability to be wireless on this occasion.

Appreciate any help on this :)

Strange. it should work James. Have you tried stopping and starting olad?

Can you post the full olad logs with -l 4 please.

I saw something like that the other day also as seen here.  I think I restarted OLA and a few minutes later it was OK.  Does OLA work for you when it is displaying "Primary IP=0.0.0.0"?  Has it corrected itself since then after a reboot?

More random thoughts, IPv6, but I don't think that should break us. Is everything starting at boot? The USB WiFi dongle may be coming up after olad?

Yeah, that would be my guess. Look at the logs to see the order in which things started.
