Hi Everyone,

I have been having a lot of trouble getting the binary image to boot on the rasberry pi 4. I am getting lots of errors.

Thanks in advance,

Campbell

Hi Campbell,
If you're using the images from https://www.openlighting.org/ola/tutorials/ola-on-raspberry-pi/, they are quite old and may have issues.  OLA is available from apt on Raspbian now, so the best way to get it is to install Raspbian from the Raspberry Pi Foundation (https://www.raspberrypi.org/software/operating-systems/) and run:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ola

We've been working on revising the Raspberry Pi docs - see https://github.com/danielskeenan/ola-website/blob/master/download_and_install/ola_on_raspberry_pi.md for the latest work in this area.

Hi Dan,

Thank you for your response! I will try the sudo-get way of installing and hopefully it will work!

Thanks,

Campbell
