To Developers ,
Working with the broadcom driver (iScsi offload engine ) that is
bnx2i. As individually bnx2i cannot perform the complete task of open-
iscsi as per to me , It needs a open-iscsi on top of it(pls correct if
its not upto that ) .
According to mine understanding these steps will be involved in
complete procedure .
Iface interface related configuration file is to be maintained -: This
file maintains the records of each iface interface and when the
service open-iscsi starts then the info from the iface file is read
Query is as follows
1) Whether the conf file is maintained by the user or the interfaces
can be detected in the run and its respective mac addresses can be
obtained using the (brcm_iscsiuio) utility ?
2) Now how the actual flow changes , without this the transposrt
path is iscsi_tcp_transport as with addition of the offload engine how
it switches from the iscsi_tcp_transport to bnx2i driver respective .
Need some insight regarding this into the source code where the open-
iscsi and bnx2i interface meets for Initiator recv and xmit related
operations
Thanks & Regards
