To enable automatic login at startup, some of the HOWTOs suggest
setting "node.startup = automatic" and others "node.conn[0].startup =
automatic". I haven't been able to find a description of the
difference. Can anyone offer an explanation or point me to a
description of the two options?

Is there a good general reference to the various node options?

Thanks,
Ben

If you set either one to automatic then it will auto login. We used to
support multipath connections per session so that is where the per conn
setting came from.
