Is anyone using 3G Unrestrictor from Cydia? It is a paid jb program
that fools the iPhone into thinking that 3g is wifi allowing > 10mb
downloads.

The problem is one of the big highlights of 3.0 was the restriction
wad going to be removed but never was.

Howdy Bill,

Yes, I am using 3G Unrestrictor from Cydia, and I paid $2.24 through paypal.  What I did, in order to test the application, is that I deactivated the wifi by turning it off, and I was left with 3G only, then I called my son( from my iPhone using Skpe)who is studying in London, England and I spoke with him for over 20 minutes great voice no drops in call unintrupted conversation.

Thank Bill for your suggestion , I was looking for something like that, keep them comming Bill.

Kindest Regards,

Sommer

Ok Guys - What did I do wrong/what didn't I do - I logged in, paid through Amazon, it authorized, installed, rebooted my phone and I went to try and download a podcast and got the same 10MB error.  I have no "app" that I can see to run - so what didn't I do correctly?

Nevermind, I did have an app it just jumped to a different screen - I figured out how to add the App Store and iTunes and am rebooting now to try and download again ;-).  This will be my first official Cydia purchase, I have a feeling if I don't keep the Droid, Intelliscreen will be the next.

Careful with intelliscreen - if you google it you find lots of
articles about rock your iphone or some such...
