This position will be responsible for analyzing application migration to cloud requirements as they relate to AWS core services. Candidate is expected to be very hands on and should possess good analysis and design skills. Candidate is expected to understand as is application landscape, target cloud architecture, build PoCs as needed, implement recurring patterns and execute the migration.
Required Experience:
Overall hands on experience of 10+ years with enterprise infrastructure and applications
Solid hands on cloud infrastructure design and development experience on AWS
In depth knowledge of key AWS services like EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, Step functions, Shield, IAM, Policies, EKS, VPC, Security Groups and so on
Experience with security certificates, key rotation, password management and the patterns for managing in automatic fashion
Hands on experience in network programming and infrastructure as code automation (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, Cloudformation and so on)
Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies, TDD (Test Driven Development)
Experience of setting up CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins), and working on AWS DevOps
Experience with Cloud Security principles, technologies, design and deployment
Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud
Experience of designing cloud solution for complex enterprise application
Experience with using and setting up enterprise software such as Identify and Access Management, Logging & Monitoring and so on
AWS Cloud architect certification is desirable
Experience with other cloud technologies like Azure.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skill
Qualifications
Min 10 years of experience in Information Technology
Desirable to have AWS Cloud architect certification is desirable
