Hi, I am sure the majority of you have already seen this but just in
case...
http://www.instructables.com/contest/arduino/
Also, I am very interested in developing an application that uses a
wireless arduino system for power/water/gas/environment measuring,
monitoring and remote control. The hardware needs to be coupled to an
online system status device/circuit scheduling, fault and consumption
monitoring with ideally mobile phone interactivity as an option.
There is another key element to this lot that if incorporates could
make this a killer app which I will discuss in more detail with any
interested partner developers.
Seen many a hack, free dashboards and plenty of gizmos that do some of
these but not all of them in real time with online/mobile
interactivity and that are potentially suitable for residential and
small business use. Interested in an open source project with like
minded souls that can be rolled out to many as a DIY or low cost to
install and service solution.
Commercial and residential retail units are available with more or
less complications than what I am proposing I know but equally they
don't appear to be integrated very well if at all and certainly miss
some critical aspects of operator buy in especially if the user
consumers are not the bill payer!
Have access to some of the online software required but I am not of a
suitable technical grade to mash this lot together.
At Be2Camp next week if a meet up is required otherwise contact me via
here..
