Hi all, and EU citizens on this list in general,

Can I ask you to sign the
Open Declaration on Transparency, Participation and Empowerment
which will be presented at the EU Ministerial Conference on eGovernment in Malmo in 2 weeks time?
At this conference the outline of the EU's eGov agenda for the coming years is decided.
We want to make sure that a call for open government, open PSI, and open data is heard there.

It's vital that the voices of EU citizens are heard at this conference, and not just those of vested interests.

Please sign the Open Declaration at http://www.endorsetheopendeclaration.eu/
Your name, e-mail address and country are all it takes to fill out.

Also feel free to forward this call to those in your networks and vicinity that might be interested.

thanks!

regards,

Ton Zijlstra

Thanks Ton, this is very important. So far there are only 600
endorsement (but growing fast).

We need to show that Open Government is not just a claim of a few
wonks and geeks!

Also there is a supporting group of 700+ on Facebook - just search for
"open declaration"

Thanks
david
