NYC Big Apps 2.0 developers,

Free developer resources are available from Esri, including REST end-points and browser based API’s. Examples include, NYC Data Mine base maps, a variety of other high quality base maps (including OpenStreetMap), and many GIS functions, such as routing, service-areas, geocoding, etc.

To learn more about these resources follow these 4 simple steps:

1.       Go to our NYC Big Apps 2.0 public group, http://www.arcgis.com/home/group.html?owner=NYCBigApps2.0&title=NYCBigApps2.0

2.       Click on “1. Welcome slide presentation”, http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=99f7ed8e8ecb41eca7204f5a8d594338

3.       Click on the map thumbnail (in red below), http://explorer.arcgis.com/?open=99f7ed8e8ecb41eca7204f5a8d594338

4.       Click on  the “Start Presentation” button in the upper-left corner (in red below), and use your space bar to change slides…

If you are interested in learning more, an Esri developer, Tom Swanson, tswa...@esri.com, is attending today’s Dev Camp…

Or feel free to contact me any time. Good luck to all of you!

Dave
