Dear all, please see a seminar on the new lobbying regulation system we are hosting next week to mark the launch of our online toolkit to open government. Registration details below.
June 2015
Ireland’s newly-appointed Head of Lobbying Regulation will deliver a special lunchtime lecture at the launch of TASC’s new Toolkit to Open Government, on Wednesday 10th June 2015.
Ms Sherry Perreault will give a talk on the new online registration system for lobbying, which follows the recent enactment of the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015.
The new system is designed to provide information to the public about who is lobbying whom about what. It is a key element of a series of legal reforms by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform which are designed to open government decisions up to fuller public scrutiny.
Before her talk, Ms Perreault will formally launch TASC’s new Toolkit to Open Government. This is a set of practical guides that aim to help citizens and organisations to more effectively seek official information, understand and query public decision-making, and promote alternatives.
About Ireland’s First Head of Lobbying Regulation
