Hello,

I posted this a few weeks as an issue in the plugin-GUI github page and the issue has come up again. I recently setup a new acquisition box and the GUI crashes within 2 minutes of every run. I've spent many hours troubleshooting, reinstalling software/drivers, switching ports/cables, etc, and cannot solve the issue. The issue was temporarily and mysteriously solved after unplugging and replugging an arduino that was hooked up, but the issue has come back after restarting the computer. Yesterday I tried an older acquisition box, and that worked perfectly, so the issue likely has to do with the new Open Ephys driver or a faulty acquisition box. It is worth noting that Windows gives me a warning message when installing the driver that it may not have installed properly. Below is the output of the command window for a crash. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Gabe –

Have you tested the new acquisition board on multiple computers? That will help us determine if the board needs to be replaced, or if there's something idiosyncratic about the machine you're using.

Josh
