Dear all,

I'm trying to setup OE to record when an external trigger send a signal.
So, I use Wavesurfer(https://wavesurfer.janelia.org/) to record and do some other things. It would be great that I can have the two synced. I found that OE can use a 'record control' plugin to achieve it (https://open-ephys.github.io/gui-docs/User-Manual/Plugins/Record-Control.html).
I attached the GUI screen shot.
It can use Rhythm FPGA (TTL#) to do the trigger. But, I do not know how to access the FPGA TTLs.
It says:
"
TTL settle

UNTESTED FEATURE Ties one of the digital inputs on the acquisition board/evaluation board to the “fast-settle” functionality of the Intan chips. If the selected digital input channel goes high, it will trigger the reset of the amplifiers across all headstages.

"

So, I'm a bit lost.

I'm wondering if anyone has something similar to what I want to do?

Thank you so much!

Best,
Haixin

a little more explanation
I can connect a wire of the NIDAQ board of wavesurfer to use its acquisition trigger. I was imaging just connect that wire to somewhere on OpenEphys board to trigger OE's recording.
is this doable?
