Hey all,

I'm a long time user of the esx and your editor - i absolutely love what you've accomplished. Without your editor, i would have given up on the esx years ago.

Is there a way to esport pattern details such as pattern name, bpm, samples used, etc. to text or csv? I maintain my own spreadsheets of pattern detail in excel - i find it very helpful when planning out live sets - and exporting this type of data from the editor would save a lot of manual entry.

Does anyone else maintain pattern or song data in this way?

Take care.

Right now that functionality doesn't exist.  It would be pretty easy to add though (I'm guessing).  There are lots of Java libraries for doing things like this.

.csv would be more "cross platform", but there are libraries like POI that handle .xls format, etc.

If you can log a bug at Github for this it'll help (or I can do it later).

Do you have an example of the format you want, or is it literally just exporting the contents of the grids/tables that already exist - then you can arrange however you want in excel?
