Dear colleague,
After having follow some of the discussions that already happened, Bartek and I recognized the need for a common terminology about the basics of EIT measurement.
The proposed terminology (see attached image) is as follow:
A “measurement” is a single voltage read out
A “frame” is a collection of measurements that contains sufficient read out for an image reconstruction. Of course for difference imaging 2 different frames are required, one reference frame and the current frame.
A “recording” is a collection of frames; a recording is saved in a single .oeit file
A “data set” is a collection of recordings; they are saved in a plurality of .oeit files
