Is my reflector dish workshop happening? Materials sorted?

I'm just trying to sort out a new timetable now, with Juanlu cancelling, Zach only being here for 5-8th, other new workshops, moving the automated plant watering workshop etc.

Anyone know of any good instructions for building a pizza oven on the Internet or should we just forget about it?

Re dish workshop, there is the last two sheets of OSB which could be be used. I haven't purchased mesh or chain but did include a workshop materials budget in the fundraising.

BTW, I tried using a 2nd hand satellite dish to get 3G data working at a neighbour's project. Phone calls there work fine, but data is very intermittent and slow. The dish boosted signal strength but data was still dreadful. Any thoughts?

HIGH risk fire season with 0 fires on the site as the local government stablishes.

Best!

Answer seems to be to read Kiko Denzer's Build Your Own Earth Oven.

Here's someone's blog of their oven:

http://iansclayoven.blogspot.com.es/

Looks like we could build one with the clay we have on site. Would probably need to order in some sharp sand, which wouldn't be expensive and could be useful for experimenting with CEB bricks. It seems we would need to buy some firebrick for the base, but this is probably not expensive.

So is this something we want to do?

Christopher.

What counts as a fire? Does this mean we can't cook?

We are cooking with gas in a kitchen with fire stinguisers close by.

Not sure if am oven is allowed, but is burning organic material which I think is not allowed on high risk fire season according to the document describing what is allowed from the Junta de Extremadura. (Already communicated)

Maybe somebody knows if an oven that burns organic material can be used in summer or not, I am not an expert on this matter.

Best!

Alas, no. As per my mail last week my extinguisher is now in Zaragoza
rather then Extremedura. I'll be going to Plasencia tomorrow and unless
anyone objects will use 30-40 of camp money to buy one.

I don't think I've seen this. Do you have a link?

Christopher.
