Quick update

Two weeks to go ...

Dome has been recovered with overlapping smaller tarps tensioned with
ropes and the triangles in the structure filled in with steel wire. This
covering is an order or magnitude better than anything we have had
before. Has survived a few nights of strong winds without problems. Roof
pentagon is covered with mesh so cool air flows through the structure -
is actually a very pleasant space to be in when it gets hot. Watched a
film in the dome last night and even with a strong wind it doesn't flap
around too much.

Have been visiting the Villabuenas Piscina Natural. It's about 10km away
from the site but is easily the best so far - lots of deep, clear, cold
water, shade, places to jump from for those who enjoy that kind of
thing. The chiringuito also does excellent food, including pizzas, and
has Mahou on tap. Seems to be a bit of a local secret - not sign posted
from the road.

There will need to be a second shade structure. Talk about building a
second dome and covering it in shade cloth - fairly quick to build.

Hopefully borrowing a petrol strimmer tomorrow, if it can be fixed.

Lots of discussion about fundraising. Hopefully we can reach agreement
in the next day or two and launch something.
