Camp funds

Camp went really well. I have a lot of (as yet unprocessed) photographs
which will be turned into a write up of the camp.

I'm currently putting a roof on the round house we built. Have added a
ring beam of wood, added cana roof supports. Have purchased polythene to
go on top and plan is to put a layer of cardboard to limit punctures,
put the plastic on top and then cover with broom and tie down. In the
end, decided to install a drain in the middle of the floor since without
walls or large eaves it will end up with some water on the floor.

Have finalised the kitchen and bar accounts. The goal of the kitchen was
the basically break even, but it didn't really work out that way. We
spent �958 on ingredients and took in took in �1451 (though a small
amount is still owed) giving a profit of around �492.

The honesty bar did reasonably well, though we spent quite a bit on ice
and the cooler boxes and had some soft drinks left at the end. We took
in �343, giving a profit of �125. The mystery �50 note which ended up in
the jar I'm assuming was a donation.

With the profits Open E Land should be close to breaking even. I'll
update the accounts on the web site with this and the fundraising money
in a few days.

Unfortunately PayPal decided to return some of the fund raising donation
money. Will try and chase this up.

I'm packing up all the valuable equipment for storage in Hernan Perez
today. The people we're storing them with are very helpful. Julio's
number is 600711467. In case there's an urgent need and they're away
Jesus at the Piscina Natural is good friends and has a key. Will post
details when we're done.
