I went to visit Jon at Centro el Encuentro and mentioned having to
cancel the strawbale workshop. He said the irony was that they already
had planning permission for a strawbale building on their site, they
just didn't have the hands to do it. He offered that if we wanted to we
could do a strawbale workshop on their site. We didn't discuss but I
presume they would pay for materials. They have a friend who has done
some strawbale building before. They're just outside Perales del Puerto
about 20m away by car.

I'm not sure it gong to work - I'm not sure there's time to organise
everything, plus Jon and his family are away during the camp, but let me
know if you think we should try and pursue it.

Christopher.

I guess it would make that kind of workshop viable.
How much would we be likely to get done in the time available?

Hello,

According to the timetable, there's free time on last sunday and monday 13th morning. http://openeland.org/2012/06/camp-details/
Wahtever is tried to do, can be done in those days, unless timetable changes for another reasons.
