Open Data Day 2025, a few reminders and an opportunity

Dropping by this list to give a few reminders, publicise an opportunity and extend an invitation.

• Reminder 1: Open Data Day 2025 event registration is now open. Just go to opendataday.org, click on Register your event and submit your details. The event is automatically added to the map.

• Reminder 2: The call for mini-grants is due to open on 10 February. You can already start thinking about your approaches and register your events beforehand.

• Opportunity: Open Knowledge is inviting organisations that work with data to take part in a pilot programme for our new Open Data Editor app. The focus is on teams and people who manage data but don't have technical expertise. It will be a 4-month funded collaboration. I strongly encourage you to apply and spread the word among your networks. • Invitation: We're experimenting with a Slack channel to be the meeting point for the Open Data Day community beyond this mailing list.
