Dear OCM community,

I am currently working on a extended mobility project, and I have followed the tutorials on website that use Kind clusters. Now, if I want to create clusters with raspberry pi, can I still do it? If yes, can you also share some hints/pointers on how to do that?

Best regards.

Welcome to the community. OCM provides a vendor neutral registration process for already created clusters to form a multicluster environment. OCM doesn't have natively cluster provisioning (ie create clusters), there are other community projects that already cover this part quite well such as cluster-api, hives, etc. So in your scenario, if you have a raspberry pi that can host multiple Kubernetes (at least 1 hub and 1 managed cluster) then you can proceed with the OCM registration process. You probably want to consider multiple raspberry pis (each represent 1 K8s cluster) due to resource constraints. We support k3s a more light weight k8s see https://github.com/open-cluster-management-io/OCM/issues/6 so maybe that's a good candidate for your experiment.

microk8s is also a good alternative to k3s in terms of provisioning clusters on IoT devices btw.
