OCD-ID For Beginners

Over the last couple months I have gathered a bunch of balloting data for the 2016 General Election.  I have looked over opencivicdata.io and Github threads, but there seems to be a lot of information and I am not sure exactly where to start. I have limited knowledge in the field. My ultimate goal is to convert the data I currently have into an OCD-ID format down to the mosquito district.

If anyone could point me to the right direction that would be great.

Hi Mikey,

We currently don't have data models for ballots in Open Civic Data. We are working on it, but in the meantime I would take a look at the VIP election spec. https://github.com/votinginfoproject/vip-specification
