Hi,

I've started to experiment with legistar's API but have been unable to make any valid queries for my city's instance which is at https://cityofcleveland.legistar.com

I've followed the documentation at
http://webapi.legistar.com/Help
and made some queries and none of them work.

All of my queries return an xml error stating:

<ExceptionMessage>LegistarConnectionString setting is not set up in InSite for client: CityOfCleveland

You can see this response if you place any GET query (e.g. http://webapi.legistar.com/v1/CityOfCleveland/persons) in a web browser.

I've tried these same queries for other cities' clients names - (replacing cityofcleveland with metro, chicago, cabq, and they all return data as I'd expect.

I've also tried cleveland, and cityofcleveland, etc and different actions from legistar's api; all return the same xml error.

Any ideas of how to identify my city's client name or do I need to ask my city to turn the API access on?

Thanks,
Will Skora
