Is there a link to the ballot before the voting begins?

HI - We'd like to send out our codes and link to where they can vote once the polls open but I don't know where to find the url link.. Is it right under my nose, or not yet available?

Hi,

We don't surface the voting link in advance because it won't work and it will show a message that might confuse your voters.

That said, the link for your code voters will be https://opavote.com/code/<YOUR_ELECTION_ID>. You can get your election id from the "Manage" URL for your election. For example, if when you are editing your election you are on https://opavote.com/manage/1234567890, then 1234567890 is your election id, and code voting will be available at https://opavote.com/code/1234567890 once the election starts.

Hi Ana, We sent out the url based on our ballot address, before the vote, but now even after the vote has begun we're still getting "Page Not Found!" response. Our opa ballot is at https://opavote.com/4913099172741120. I don't know what's wrong.

You are missing the "/code/" part of the URL. The correct code-voting URL for your election is https://opavote.com/code/4913099172741120

As a reminder, once voting has begun, you can find the code-voting URL in your OpaVote console.

Hi Ana, I included both with and without the code to our voters as per the forum page's pattern ("https://www.opavote.com/code/1234567890"), but neither works. BUT now that I am finding the link via the management page, I see what's missing is "en" -
