Hi there, We just had a Candidate Forum with many candidates running for multiple offices. I want to list them all and have people vote yes or no on each of them.  What format should I use?

Hi Florence,

If you want voters to cast a yes/no vote for each candidate, then you want to use Approval Voting.

Hi Jeff -- I have a similar situation and see that instead of a visible YES  or NO, the approval voting is a checkbox. Am I missing anything ? Thanks.

Hi Cammie,

Checked = Yes
Unchecked  = No

You can use the description box to explain to your voters in more detail.

I just tried to set this up with 4 candidates and Number of Winners=4 but in the Voting Preview it would only allow me to approve a single candidate

Hi Chris,

Please make sure that the "Method" on your contest is set to "Multi Winner".

It looks like right now the app will let you use "Single Winner" as a method, but set a number of winners larger than 1, which is a bug. I'll file this as an issue to be corrected ASAP.

Best,
