Would it be possible to include a tabular view of the counts for each round in addition to the charts? Looking at the page with Chrome DevTools I see that there are tables in the DOM, but I don't see a way to get them to display. Example of a table for one of the rounds from the DOM below:

Thanks,
Ted

<div aria-label="A tabular representation of the data in the chart." style="position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: auto; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden;"><table><thead><tr><th>Candidate</th><th>Votes</th><th>Received</th><th>Transferred</th><th>Threshold</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Candidate 1 (64.8%)</td><td>109</td><td>5</td><td></td><td>88</td></tr><tr><td>Candidate 2 (35.2%)</td><td>40</td><td>22</td><td></td><td>88</td></tr><tr><td>Candidate 3 (0.0%)</td><td></td><td></td><td>34</td><td>88</td></tr><tr><td>Exhausted</td><td></td><td>7</td><td></td><td>88</td></tr></tbody></table></div>

Hi Ted,

That is definitely a possibility worth considered. Can you tell us what you want the tabular view of the counts for? How would they help you?

That information will help us decide exactly if, when, and how to add them.

My specific use case is that I wanted to transcribe the results of an IRV contest into a spreadsheet to so interested voters could the round-by-round results. (As it happens the original contest was San Francisco RCV; I performed an IRV recount with random tie-breaking to get "elimination=zero", since I think it is easier to explain to voters than batch elimination, and IIUC it does not affect the outcome when over- and under- votes are not possible.)

My spreadsheet looks something like this; I'm not attached to this particular form. Not relevant to the original subject of my post, but since we're here: it was for an endorsement vote with a super-majority threshold, so the 'None' row is the number the implicit 'Do not endorse' votes, and the final 2 columns are the results of the recount with approval voting. The denominator for the percentages is the total number of ballots.

Hi Ted,

Are you aware of the CSV report format that's available on the results page?

Your spreadsheet example looks very similar to this existing format (although the existing format does not list percentages). You can check it out on any existing OpaVote results page, e.g. on https://opavote.com/results/5654402576678912/1 ; click on the "CSV Report" button.

That's helpful, thanks. If it were available for recounts that would be convenient. For my specific use case allowing setting the tie-breaking mode for IRV in expert mode would also work.
