Hi all,

One thing I noticed from the blog posts of the group was that most people seem to have a slightly incorrect perception of professional development & their PD policy.  The PD policy is not something that you enroll in, or participate in.  It is not a programme.

It exists because MNZ want to encourage members to engage in professional development so that it’s members continue to develop themselves & their skills.  MNZ has therefore created a schedule of PD activities which it will recognize.  The schedule allows members to choose the kinds of professional development which they want to engage in, but a member must accrue points by engaging in at least some of the activities which MNZ  recognize as valid forms of PD.
