На 9 декември 2025 г. (вторник) от 14:15 часа в зала 503 на ИМИ-БАН и онлайн чрез платформата zoom ще се проведе хибридно заседание на семинара на секция „Изследване на операциите, вероятности и статистика“. Доклад на тема:

 

Диференцируеми функции със сюрективни обобщени Якобиани

 

ще изнесе д-р Себастиан Тапия Гарсия от изследователската група по Вариационен анализ, динамика и изследване на операциите на Техническия Университет Виена.

 

Абстрактът на доклада (на английски език) е даден в края на съобщението. Докладът ще бъде изнесен на английски език.

On December 09, 2025 (Tuesday) at 14:15 in room 503 of IMI-BAS and online via Zoom d-r Sebastian Tapia Garcia, research unit Variational Analysis, Dynamics and Operations Research, Vienna University of Technology

will give a talk at the Operations Research, Probability and Statistics Seminar. 

The title and the abstract of the talk follow:

Differentiable functions with surjective generalized Jacobians.

Abstract: In this talk we start with a brief discussion about the possible values that the limiting and Clarke Jacobians can take in the class of differentiable locally Lipschitz functions (defined on finite dimensional spaces). Then, we construct a differentiable locally Lipschitz function f:R^n->R^m such that, for any nonempty compact connected C subset of R^{n х m}, we can find a point x in R^n such that C coincides with the limiting Jacobian of f at x. In particular, the Clarke Jacobian of f ranges all its possible values. 

This work has been done in collaboration with Aris Daniilidis and Robert Deville.
