play on iPhone while using another App?

On the iTunes Store page for ooTunes, in the Application Description,
it shows "NONE OF THE ABOVE FEATURES REQUIRE THE OOTUNES SERVER! Want
to keep listening while using another App?"

What does this mean? How?

There are two options to achieve this, one is jailbreak your iphone
and install "backgrounder". The second is the ooTunes server which
uses apple's safari browser (which can be backgrounded) to play
streams in the background, while streaming them from the server. For
