Hi I am using OpenOrb to propagate MPC orbital elements for NEOs to a more current epoch, taking into account the planetary perturbations. The mpcorb and propagation tasks work great for this but I am looking for a way to convert back to MPC orbit format afterwards, as I need orbits in this form for feeding to telescopes.

Is there a way to do this in OpenOrb ?

Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim,

unfortunately there isn't currently a way to convert back to MPC orbit format
using OpenOrb. But I'm happy to include the capability, if you decide to write
the code to do it (for an example, see writeDESOrbitFile in main/io.f90).

Cheers,
Mikael
