OOOBA or OOOWA?

Live streaming the Fuchs v Oehrlein game today I was once again ashamed of what I saw.

This was not just due to the random throwing up of 3 point bricks and air balls, but the reffing.
I have seen many horrible reffing jobs in my career but this by far was the worst of all, to the point where the refs should be banned from overlooking a game ever again.
What I saw was a ref getting shoved with no call on the player, constant hammering the drive and letting it go, and 5 step traveling with no whistle to be found.
This league looked like a WWE Hardcore championship match but instead of chairs they used a orange ball.  If the league wants to see sweet finishes at the rim and old fashioned "and one" calls then the refs need to be on point. Otherwise this will be a league of wrestlers attempting 3 pointers.

I wore my OOOBA attire in support of this league and if I see that reffing crew again interfere with a competition I will have no choice but to burn the shirt or dismember it to represent what I truly saw today the One On One Wrestling Association.

Fan wanting a true ONE on ONE competition,
Coach Heimerman

I agree completely.

As an OOOBA Commissioner, I am happy to announce some good news. OOOBA has made progress toward hiring a new reffing crew for playoffs. Contact has been made with two people that have many years of basketball experience, a deep understanding of the game, and passion for well played, high quality basketball. The league has gotten verbal confirmation from at least one person. I will not disclose the names of the new refs yet, but once things have been finalized, there will be an official update on the news page. OOOBA wants to give fans a high quality game of basketball, and the association understands that good refs are essential.

OOOBA Commissioner and website manager,
Jared Campbell
